I am still waiting to make this part of the main sections of pages in the Rhapsody Resource site (on the TextEdit page), but at the same time I wanted to give some people access to this source code.
As it stands right now, this version of TextEdit compiles on Rhapsody 5.3 and later... which means it is currently only working on PowerPC systems. But as this is source, someone out there may have the time to get it working in Rhapsody 5.1 for both PowerPC and Intel based systems. This would be a very welcome upgrade to the Java based version of TextEdit that Apple supplied with Rhapsody 5.1. |
