The Rotation wheel sets the angle of the baseline of the selected object. Rotation is measured in degrees; the default rotation is 0 degrees, which gives a horizontal baseline. Increasing the number of degrees rotates the object counterclockwise. The image below is rotated 45 degrees:

Use the Rotation wheel to rotate circle, rectangle, round box and Super Text objects. To rotate other objects, you must first group that object either with itself or with other objects. You can then rotate the group. When you ungroup a rotated object or objects however, they will revert to their unrotated state.

Rotation has different meanings for different Super Text effects. For example, in Basic mode, the Rotation control changes the angle of the baseline, while in Circle mode, it changes the placement of the text around the circumference of the circle. See the description of each Super Text mode for information on how the Rotation control affects that mode.
