Adding a background graphic to your Create document and web page is simple. Create allows you to add any background graphic, and control its opacity through the Page & Grid Inspector. Background graphics do not print, but they do get coded into your HTML document. All objects on top of background images must be output as GIF's because JPEG images are not transparent - the exception is opaque images, where it doesn't matter. HINT: drag an image from the Data Well or File Viewer onto the "Page & Grid" button to instantly load a new background image, or Click on "Image" button to open an image:

The Image Dissolve slider adjusts your background images' transparency. The chosen color is used to create the dissolved color.
Click on the Page & Grid inspector

Open Image... brings up the Open Panel which lets you specify a TIFF, EPS or any other image type supported by Rhapsody as a background image, which is tiled across and down the page. Each page can have a different image. The image is not printed, and is useful for creating HTML pages with background images as well as viewing your content against the target background.
Remove Image removes the image, and redisplays your page.

Hide Image
temporarily hides the background image. The menu item then becomes "Show Image", clicking that will once again show the background image. Create will not use that image when creating web pages when it is hidden.
